Hello everyone, so on 26 Nov the petition to not have Adam Lambert over to welcome 2016 with us Singaporeans has garned 7497 signatures; reason cited was it being an "inappropriate choice" for the show that could "turn an otherwise dignified family-friendly event into a situation that is offensive and potentially divisive"." (From The Straits Times). Yet, I beseech my fellow Singaporeans to think about relevance of such concerns raised. Is it really logical to claim that by simply watching a performance by one of "different" sexuality will alter another's original sexual orientation? Furthermore given the prevalence of social media, where internet users can always have access to vast amount of content of all sorts, wouldnt make more sense if concerned parents take concrete actions such as regulating your own child's social media usage? Hence, I hope that you would sign this petition and show your support. Thank you. :-)
