This show never gets old. It is a timeless television program that will be in our lives for many many decades to come.
Of coarse with the loss of Earl Hamner the new show will not be the same. But I'm sure that his son Scott and other great writers would be able to create a wonderful new series!
We still have all of the original children and we still have Miss Michael learned and a few other originals.
Netflix would be a wonderful format for this series in my opinion.
Just lets please bring it back in some format or another.

I would love to see a Waltons Reunion. My mom and I watched the show everyday. She had gotten real bad off with her health and the night she died we were watching The Walton,s in her bedroom. I had said something to her and she didn't answer and I checked her pulse and she was gone. She had made it clear she did not want anything done to try and bring her back. I was glad we were watching The Waltons and she was comfortable in her bed when she passed.That is a memory I will allways have.

Did you see that Earl Hamner just passed away last week, if they do a show there should be a mention of this as well in the introduction.
