It IS fair that you are made to pay 20p for the toast if you consider the fact that you are also getting a carton,there is no necessity to make a petition!

I cant believe the school has increased the prices on toast. For some of us it is the start of the day of learning and the start of the is like the foundations of a building. If you dont start the day right the whole day is ruined.
Some of us will not want to pay this double of price in toast and therefore pur entire day of learning will be ruined. This will begin to show in our grades and i dont think mr row will apreatiate yavneh boys not getting the a*'s (or nines mow that the system is changing) that we so much have the potentail for.
As well as this i dont think the increase in price is justified economically. On occasions such as rosh chodesh the school has been able to give toast away free of charge but now they are charging 10p extra?? To me this doesnt quite add up.
The school has also made budget cuts such as cutting down on the amount of printing done so why does it need to make this additional one.
I understand that the school might be running low on funding at the moment but is this really the way to go about it. The prices of lunch have also gone up dramatically over the past few years. The children of yavneh and king david can scarcely afford it.
I hope you take my words into account and together we can look forward for better learning, a better king david high school and a better tommorow.

I think it is a disgrace that these Jews r being discriminated. Does this not remind u of naxi Germany in 1938 when the Jews were being beaten and disrespdisrespected just for being Jewish? it all started when Adolph (may hid name be blotted out) raised the prices for toast only to jews. Come on, we say it will never happen again but the way things r looking with this toast business, anything could happen. Just remember, it all begins with raising the prices of toast.
