Totally unsuitable location for veted or unveted migrants . The old mental hospital would be a more suitable location.

The danger that the residents and school going kids will be put under by letting this happen. We all know exactly who'll be put in there, all the stories from around the country are being kept out of the media just so the government can get money from the EU. It really shows the government and council's care more about money than people.

The location of this could not be worse, right on the doorstep of two schools, one of which is an all girls secondary school. This is absolutely unacceptable and should be relocated.

House our own people first, the homeless, the young people and young family's looking for homes. We the Irish people must come first in our own homeland, you the politicians depend on your own people for our votes and your livelihood because of our taxes, so you must put the Irish first.

Absolutely scandalous that it is even a thought to put an IPAS Centre in a small town already struggling and to add insult to injury it will be right across from an all girls secondary school..

Enough is enough. Our country is bursting at its stems. No more people should be let in. We have done more than our fair share. No doctors , dentists and hospitals can't cope.

Brings back memories that's where I started school. I now live in Dublin, but I support the people of the Shannon Community.

This should not be allowed for safety reasons there is a girls school and a kindergarten along with elderly residents it will destroy the area and community
