Opening schools at this point is reckless and politically motivated ... don’t play into Trump’s I’ll-advised goals! MUCH more planning, precautions, and associated funding is necessary in order to not risk the health & safety of our students & teaches! Do the right thing re: ... “knock it off!”

I don’t think Is safe to send our kids to school until there is a vaccine for the virus. I personally don’t feel safe if they go back because I am due to have my third baby sometime next week and I would not want my kids to go school and bring the virus back to the house.

Distance Learning needs to continue until we have an effective treatment or vaccine, for the safety of students, families, teachers and staff.

As a single mother and teacher in Providence, I do not feel comfortable returning to school until there aren't any new cases.

I am no longer in grade school. Although I am now in college, many of my younger relatives are still in elementary school, middle school, or high school. This pandemic has shown me that family is important and should not be taken for granted therefore, I pledge against the return to in-person classes as the chances of getting the virus steadily increase.

Myself, family and friends all have compromised immune systems. I couldn’t imagine how many others are in our position and are scared to go back to work and potentially infect their family and friends.

I believe it would be safer if the children do distance-learning for at least the first month or two even into in the cold season starts
