History is one of the biggest things that separates Vernonia from a forest filled suburbia. Please keep our town quaint and rich with history and tradition

Would love to see it stay. We could use it as a concert venue radio venue maybe even put in something like a dirt track or motorcycle racing track. It has potential and it would save our history.

I understand the City of Vernonia has made a financial decision based on facts and risk assessments, but we implore you to consider the emotional resonance of this last remaining remnant of our childhood. I am asking the City to stay the demolition, permit an engineer to inspect the property, and allow time for the alumni to provide a creative solution.

Please don’t tear them down. Let’s salvage them and figure out a great plan for that area. How about the ridge rider arena and they become responsible for care and upkeep?
