Bay Nothing has been around even before I was born and it has been a tradition of my family and town people to go down and enjoy themselves by swimming and camping. Not to mention the boat ramp was an awesome spot for people to put in and not have to drive 30-50 miles! Bay Nothing is the safest part of the river being its secluded from the bigger towns such as Van Buren and Doniphan!

I encourage everyone to compose a letter to state representatives and forestry department commissioner to see what can be done about getting Bay Nothing reopened. There is a lot of people wishing for it to reopen. It would take so little to at least make this a self-service campground. It would be shameful to let this great place go. Bay Nothing has been part of growing up for many local families for as long as we can remember. At virtually no cost to the state or government, it has always been available for swimming, boat access, and family camping.

This is one of the only places that large groups of people can go for a camping trip without having to leave town. We need bay nothing

We need the access to the river. It is and always has been a part of the surrounding areas place to be for the summer. Friends and families have gathered here for many years.
