My family and I DO NOT want the Bay Nothing access to be shut down. This is a beautiful and convenient place to swim, camp and launch a boat. I am a tax payer and I am requesting Bay Nothing access remain open to the public.

Wow! I never thought there would be talk about closing Bay Nothing. That's absurd! It needs to be kept open. It's a heavily used part of the river.

My husband and I have been kayaking current river yearly for over 15 years. We ALWAYS put in our kayak at Bay Nothing and kayak down to Deer Leap. It is the most BEAUTIFUL peaceful place to kayak. We love Bay Nothing. I am also a runner. I run trails, have run 2 half marathon, more 5 ks than I can count and I regularly run weekends on a gravel or trail somewhere. This is one of my favorite runs, as soon as it's gravel, my husband will let me out to run and I'll steadily run the gravel distance from the blacktop to the Bay Nothing access. It's 4 miles up and down hills, there are NO houses, only fresh air, nature, and the sound of gravel crunching under my feet. The feeling at the end when I could sit on the boat ramp and throw rocks in the river as we watched the sun go down was like none other. It truly is a favorite place of ours. PLEASE STRONGLY consider reopening it.

Just take out the damaged area and open to the public. We have used it for half a century without the cement ramp.

There really needs to be some public access to put in boats on that section of the Current River.

we locals (upper river) are feed up with the park service squeezing out river access when they get a chance. the gov. stole the river from land owners for public use and now they want to close it off. KEEP IT OPEN

Our tint community doesn't have much and not reopening Bay Nothing (even tho it really is nothing but some woods on the river) is taking a huge part of this community. It's one place where anyone can go to enjoy nature and spend time with friends and family on the river, close to home and out of the way of tourists.

This access needs to be repaired and reopened as soon as possible. many people use this access. River access is very limited.

Please do not close Bay Nothing. It's part of our history in the Grandin area and continues to make wonderful memories for our children.
