Everyone is hurting and the hurt is going to go on for many more years to come. Any system of any kind that will make Anguillans dig deeper in their pockets can not and will not work cause we just don't have it

The current goods tax in place from 2019 is already increasing the cost of living. We cannot afford the tax. There is absolutely no possibility for a salary increase as it stands how much more is going to be taken from the $1 by the GOA. Soc. Sec you get something back. *Inerinm Stabilization Levy* (which is income tax) gives us nothing back. And now GST with nothing for us to get back!!!

Im a small business owner that is trying to make it happen here on the island of Anguilla, I could have did like alot my friends many years ago and leave but I didn't because there's no place like Anguilla and I love my home that's why I chose to stay and set up shop here,but I am not fully against GST but I'm fully against the way it's been handled and how it is being implemented at this time with no threshold an when a lot of us have nothing, I honestly think a minimum wage should have been set first as well,I understand that the country needs money but please please please understand that there are options and if we're going to implement GST let's try to implement some other options as well...

I am signing this document, saying no to GST, not at this time, I see the pain and the hurt of my fellow Anguillan. Zemi Beach, Manoah, cove Castle, altimar are close. Every boat that runs Marrigot is sitting at blowing point, the primary school project are coming to a close within a few weeks! Our unemployment is a unprecedented high. So why the rush Mr Premier for GST? For 2 month salary? Within the pass 6 weeks we had increasing In gas, water, AASPA, fuel, hospital and electricity in the next 10 days! The poor can't take no more.
