If we were getting yearly tax returns in some form it wouldnt be so advantageous, again with taxation without representation .

It is ridiculous to implement this taxation when people are suffering sometimes without food because there is no work for anyone to do because of the hurricane and the pandemic that we have. It is unconscionable to do such a thing..We voted youvin to represent us not destroy us.. Kenneth Richardson

I disagree. Persons are struggling right now due to covid-19 and even in 2022 persons will just about starting to go back to work and catching their hand financially.

It is not the right time to implement the GST on Anguilla. The economy is not performing right now mainly due to Covid19. Rigid tax structures like the GST can destroy Anguilla. I do not want my island and our people to be destroyed at all. We need a better solution to protect us and build the economy. May God continue to bless our lovely island of Anguilla.
