Please add your name to the list if you don’t want masks mandated at SLUH this 2021-2022 school year. Families who choose to wear a mask are welcome to, but we, the parents, want to make that choice for ourselves. If we can sit next to SLUH families in Mass, movie theaters, and restaurants without masks, our sons should be able to sit next to one another in class without masks. We are choosing to pay to send our children to school at SLUH, and part of that experience would be robbed from our boys should they have to spend another school year wearing masks. They need face-to-face, interpersonal, nonverbal communication with their peers as well as their teachers.
