I really thought this might just fizzle out in a week but the way people are responding is actually overwhelming and it feels like the school board might finally have to look at us. My phone will not stop buzzing and I keep getting distracted by the notifications while I am trying to focus on work but honestly it is worth it.

It should be our choice as a parent! I'm sorry I just don't see where it's safe for a child to wear a mask all day...last year my child came home every single day with a wet mask and very dirty..... breathing that in all day during school hours can't be healthy!
There is no data showing kids need to be mask as they are the least vulnerable group
My granddaughter goes to LES and neither her parents or grandparents want her having to wear a mask
The Governors executive order 2021-23 on page 9, section I bans any mask mandates by schools in SC. The Chester County School board has no authority to put into place the mask mandates. Also, the new provisio being taken to court by AG Wilson clearly shows this and will kill the idiotic mandate that the geniuses in Chester County decided to implement.
I have a student at ATL that will continue to not wear a mask! The Governor & legislation has already passed the bill to where it is parents choice! I will be turning in stats that show from the CDC website masks DO NOT WORK!!!
The Supreme Court in South Carolina said schools can not mandate mask wearing this is an illegal and unconstitutional act
