We Support Trustee Barry Neufeld! "Thank You"!

Thank you Mr. Neufield for your courage and political incorrectness....Thank you.

A trustee's job is to represent differing viewpoints, and especially those shared by constituents. Neufeld not only has the right to voice a legitimate argument, but it is his job as a trustee to present it for consideration.

I've known Barry for about 3 years. I have only known him to be gentle and kind. He seems to be devoted to helping others, as a school trustee, as a prison chaplain, and as a clergyman at church. He is not unique in his views, which challenge trending attitudes around SOGI and children, and he should not be demonized for them. I believe that Barry's views on this issue are not based on hate, bigotry, transphobia, and certainly not out of ignorance, but rather from a genuine concern for the welfare of children. I am writing this as Barry's friend, but also as a concerned parent with children in the Chilliwack school system.

Thank you Mr. Neufeld for standing up against political correctness to protect the health and safety of all children. Every school trustee must be held accountable for protecting the welfare of the children in public schools. You exercised due diligence and we commend you.

We support Barry Neufeld for speaking up against child abuse.

Wrong is wrong. Immortality is wrong. Stop normalizing sexual perversion. It is child abuse!.

No matter what side of the fence you are, there is freedom of speech without name calling, and thereby showing intolerance. Christian values especially are attacked daily, and our freedom of expression about our christian values is taken away, a bit at the time, unless we take a firm stand, civilly, to protect our freedoms.

Barry spoke for me, and I totally am on side on what he said, and how he stated it. To be required to apologize for stating what I expect my elected officials to say is ludicrous. May many more elected officials stand up for what is obviously an unbalanced perspective of populace.
