I support Mr. Neufeld because he is protecting our children. I want to be called Mom and I want my kids have a gender they got from God.

If he can't speak out then who can? Stop the censorship and bring informed discussion. Our children deserve our best.

I am completely against this effort to confuse anti-bullying efforts with the belief that gender is fluid and confusing our children with the highly debatable, at best, idea that their gender is something that depends on their own subjective feelings and highly influenced perception of themselves, This is not the role of school educators, who are representing a minority social movement, rather than scientific evidence, and have no qualification or right to be doing so.

I support Mr. Neufeld because he is protecting our innocent children. They were born male or female period and I waited 4 years to be called a Mom, Mama, Mother and this should not be taken away from my child or any child. This is abuse.

I am not fighting SOGI because I hate or am intolerant of people who want their sexual identity to be different to how they were born but in part because the confusion and rhetoric a very, very small part of society is forcing upon those of us who are opposed to an agenda that will cause young children to question who they really are made to be...heterosexual. Even the stats show the harm to children and young adults in society but it seems no one in government care about the harm caused. Instead the government needs to "help" our children navigate those feelings so they can lead a healthier life well into the future. Confusion needs appropriate counselling not just a pat on the back saying "your okay, just change". Something's are not healthy for our children so I redirect and lead them to solutions that are healthy for their development if I agreed to everything my children desire then I fail them,myself, and society. Quit the politics of agreeing because of the pressure of media and this small group that present their case and instead look at the stats that show the harm this is causing these young individuals. Keep the SOGI agenda out of our schools and when our children have grown then let them be exposed to this. In the meanwhile just help them with their feelings. They will likely land well.

I support Barry Neufeld and his support of children in the schools. Mr. Neufeld's opinion should be respected and he does not deserve to be attacked by certain groups. Mr. Neufeld cares about the children and he has the courage to speak out. It is easier to be politically correct and go with the flow. Mr. Neufeld has been around since 1992. If he was no good, Mr. Neufeld would be long gone. Shame on the dissenters in the school board who said that Mr. Neufeld does not represent their point of view. They are the politically correct people who attack rather than listen. Also, there are groups that attack at the drop of a hat. This is why I will not get a Facebook or Twitter account. We are very lucky to have Mr. Neufeld on the school board and we should support him. I do.

Stay strong Mr. Neufeld! We need more people like you !
