We need to nurture and protect children. As parents we need to teach children right from wrong, and we need to carefully scrutinize the values that are promulgated at school and elsewhere. Some decisions made too early in life dramatically affect how children will live in their whole adult lives. We need to give a lot of time for children to mature fully to adults and then they make those life-changing-decisions. When they make decisions as adults, we pray that they would choose the God-honouring decisions. But ultimately they need to make the choice as adults, not as children. The SOGI agenda pushes some serious far-reaching decisions onto children, at an age where they do not fully understand the consequences of their decisions. We need to protect all kids from being discriminated upon for being too short, too fat, etc. These protections are/should also be extended to kids that feel transgendered, or "different" from societal expectations. I am anti-SOGI, but I am also in favour of protecting all children.

Hi Barry: appreciate your stand on this issue. It's far cry from reading, writing and arithmetic, which should be the focus of education. Our schools should not be a testing ground for the social indoctrination of our children. And, this should not be forced on anyone. You have my support. Cheers, Bill
