It is a real shame that the Girl Scouts, who used to promote a wonderful set of values, has succumed to the secularist attitudes about what's good for our future wives and mothers.

Girl Scouts promise to "help people at all times" and "serve God." A Girl Scout is "honest, fair...considerate, caring...responsible...and a sister to every Girl Scout." I have been a Girl Scout for 19 years. I have many fond childhood memories, many of them having to do with scouting. I grew up at camps and outings with my best of friends, memorizing and reciting the Promise and Law that are still proudly displayed by the Girl Scout Organization today. However, the Girl Scout Organization is hypocritical when they stand by the Promise and Law and Pro-Abortion concepts at the same time. It disgusts me to know that the Girl Scout Organization supports Planned Parenthood and Pro-Abortion. It disregards everything they have stood for over a century.

It's a sad situation when an organization which is seen as good is just taking advantage of young girls and their minds. GS needs to acknowledge what they support if they really believe what they're doing is right. Why do they hide what they really represent if it's so good for the girls?

I AM NO LONGER PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A GIRL SCOUT, BROWNIE LEADER AND BOTH OF OUR DAUGHTERS IN SCOUTING. HOW ATROCIOUS TO PARTNER WITH ABORTION GROUPS.

It's quite shocking to hear that the girl scout org. supports planned parenthood and other things connected withh abortion.i will not buy their cookies.

I was a girl scout for 7years when I was a kid. I admire Juliet Lowe and her intentions for the girls in America. But this support of killing the unborn is sinful and hideous. I can't support them any more.

I am very disappointed in how many formerly reputable organizations like Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have turned on the very beliefs that got them started. How can we ever hope to build a strong nation when all our training organizations fail to lead our youth to the higher moral standards that once made us great and strong?
