For years I was a Girl Scout leader and organizer when my daughter was in grade school. Now I refuse to be connected in any way with the organization because of their pro-abortion ties.

As a former Girl Scout & mother of Girl Scouts who have won awards for being top sellers of GS Cookies, I am ashamed of the organization. I will no longer support sales & I will encourage others to boycott sales also. Shame on you Girl Scouts of America!

As a girl who grew up in scouting and loved it, I became a co-leader with another scout before I even graduated. I also participated with two deaf girl scouts and became a neighborhood leader when my kids were little. Shortly after I expressed my desire to join the alumni group, I started reading about the girl scouts' partnerships with Planned Parented, which is now growing. I'm sorry, but abortion is not a wholesome lifestyle, as the girl scout tradition has been for so many years. I withdrew from the alumni group and will not participate in any way to help the girl scouts until such time they end all their ties with the abortion industry and women promoting abortion.
