Agree with Carly, these girls are impressionable and it's not their fault they are being taught the wrong views they are. Just say "no thank you" to the cookies and well I don't know how the organization works- but if possible take up your concerns with the Troop Leaders at the next meeting. Parents especially of any girls in scouts need to get involved! Please think about what kinds of people you want your children to become, responsible ladies who respect others and their right to live, or people who believe it's ok to kill another because it benefits them? Even in the case of rape, it's wrong to kill someone who wasn't even involved in your attack, you shouldn't be allowed to kill someone because they remind you of something bad..I would want my daughter to value life, especially those that are innocent and aknowledge a rape was NOT her fault OR the baby's and would work with her through it..it's ok if she feels she can't give the child the love they deserve, no one is asking you to raise them if you truly feel you cannot. Just please show compassion and give them to people who CAN give them love..I would want my daughter's to be compassionate people and I think we all should be raising our children to be strong and do the right thing even when faced with an emotional ordeal. A rightly so one but abortion solves nothing, it won't erase the rape, it's not coping with it.

I miss the days of hiking, camping, sewing, cooking, earning cool badges. Its so sad that this once great organization has taken such a turn. Girl Scouts cannot show up in uniform for their church's pro-life events but the GS office can tweet their support for Wendy Davis....

I love the cookies but I love and respect life more. I usually purchase several boxes. But I can't but them knowing that they may be providing funds to support abortions in any way shape or form.
