Girl Scouts? what is sthe world coming too. I wonder how that organization would like it if their parents would have decided to about them? Oh, right, didn't happen...because they are alive.

GSUSA is no longer the organization founded by Juliette Gordon Low. I was a Girl Scout as a young girl and later a troop leader for many years. I no longer support the GSUSA and what they have become.

I support the boycott against the Girl Scouts. I find it absolutely repulsive that this orgainization supports Planned Parenthood. My daughter was a Girl Scout for a couple of years and I was initially disappointed when she no longer wanted to continue. Now I'm glad she's not part of it.

I was a Girl Scout from the second through the eighth grade, which was from 1960-67. It was always a wholesome, family-oriented organization, and our troop was sponsored by our local Catholic parish. If there was a Planned Parenthood back then, I'm sure the Girl Scouts would not be supporters. Too bad there is one now. I have read that the Girl Scout leadership at the national level is now run by hard-core lesbians. If that is true, that may be a clue as to where the Scouts are headed with their "mission" as an organization. That's quite a departure from what the founder, Juliette Low, intended.

Eons ago, when my daughter was in the Girl Scouts I stopped buying the cookies because the Scouts only received $.10/box. The cookie company is pimping these young girls. Apparently their parents & the Scout Leaders see nothing wrong with this appalling practice.
