Growing up in the Demopolis area, there were very little options for children as well adults regarding entertainment. Having tried to move back a few years ago and not being able to find work was hard enough, let alone being able to take the kids somewhere local. I think the drive in movie would not only be a tasteful entertainment option but also another much needed employment opportunity.
