Not only do I agree with the contents of this letter but I do not feel that any privacy rights were violated when the Letter of Recommendation was revoked. High school transcripts include suspensions/disciplinary actions so the college would receive this information anyway...unless the Administration didn't report the incident accurately in the student's file. I would hope that an incident such as this would be accurately recorded by SHS Administration.

As a Stoughton resident with children in the schools, these teachers should not be punished for doing their job. Dr. Rizzi should be reprimanded for her failure to properly handle the incedent.

As the wife of an educator I'm horrified by how these teachers were treated. They did the right thing, the school board did not.

Administration handled this completely unprofessionally. They need to stand behind the teachers instead of letting them be walked all over by inappropriately behaving students.

I stand by these teachers that did the absolute right thing in this situation!
Punishing the teachers instead of the student is the wrong thing to do. Let's hope for more peaceful situations start to happen and the teachers are shown respect for the great things they did!
