We support Piers Morgan's position on gun control, and his right to first amendment freedom of speech. There is no need for military style assault weapons to kill ducks or for that matter 20 innocent 6 year old children in Newton, Connecticut. Or for that matter innocent people in a movie theatre in Aurora, Colo. as well as many schools and other venues where innocent people have been victimized. In the last 50 years, 15 of the top 24 worst mass shootings world-wide occurred here in the US. Our gun laws don't work, innocent people are dying, and Mr. Morgan has every right to exercise his right to free speech. Just like there is a second amendment, which our forefathers never intended for the right to own military style assault weapons in the hands of ordinary people that are too easy to get, there is a first amendment guaranteeing free speech. We all welcome and applaud Mr. Morgan's stand, and disagree with any effort to have him deported. Piers - thank you for your courage and for taking this stand! We say enough! Its time for real gun control and for laws that work!
