While I'm a recent transplant to LA, I love the way the school cares for Mike, how he is part of the LSU community. I second the motion to adopt Tony (even if he's not the ideal tiger for the job - he needs it!)

Nicole - he's not dead yet. (to paraphrase Monty Python) - They are helping him have excellent quality of life until he is in too much pain or unable to enjoy his life. Mike VI is his facebook page, if you want updates.

I have visited LSU and the enclosure is a lot better then they have at most places and I can see you take good care of the Tiger and I support you keep doing all you have in the past years. Do not stop

Mike is a beloved symbol of LSU and Louisiana. Please get another Mike soon! We mourn his passing though we know the vets did their level best. Every Cajun knows the next Mike will be treated better than any tiger wild or captive in the entire world just as our wonderful Mike who just passed on was!

I have always loved Mike the Tiger...living near LSU for some time, I was able to visit his enclosure often, just to sit and watch him do his thing...he was playful and enjoyed his pool when it was hot
I support having a live mascot at LSU.
