There are people that have done far worse and they keep on bothering this man he has paid his debt to society and God has forgiven him so the hell with all of the naysayers let the man play and take care of his family.

Die hard STEELERS supporter for years! What I find so disheartening is what can be easily interpreted as subtle hidden racism.
First of all Vick was in his twenties, had just become a multi-millionaire and of course like many newly signed millionaire franchise players looked out for and supported those he grew up with.
Was he wise for doing that? No. In embracing his friends, he also embraced the culture that they all grew up with and that was dog fighting. Was it right? No. Was it juvenille? Yes. He was caught, arrested, convicted and like a man he accepted his role, the lies he told and served his time.
He is still one of the most gifted and talented athletes on the planet and he can be an asset to the STEELERS!
Let his talent speak and let's end the insensitivity.

Not a Steelers fan, but support Vick! Let's exercise forgiveness and love and move forward! I'm sure you who are holding on to the past are no saint or innocent by any means. Focus on true issues that can improve the world we live in!

I may not like Vick as a player anymore and think he should retire, but he has paid his debt and changed his life around. I forgave him when Andy Reid gave him a chance and I think he proved himself back then. As a Steelers fan, I trust the staff to do what's best for the team or what they think is best for the team. Good luck Vick.
