The Friends of Greenbelt Theatre, a non-profit organization, is working to incubate a worker’s cooperative that would bring diverse film programming -- including independent, art house, repertory, and educational content -- to the Old Greenbelt Theatre. We want to offer more to Greenbelters with film series, classes, events, and festivals. There is so much potential in our historic theater - let's see it open to the public and serving our community as much as possible! We believe these goals will not only benefit the economic development of Roosevelt Center but also foster a greater sense of community among all areas of Greenbelt.
