Dr. Menzel is just what SUSD needs — the community and especially the students. He knows his stuff and, despite what certain board members and other self-proclaimed experts say, is implementing best practices for student learning within what is possible given our style of government and American attitudes. He genuinely cares about students, and it has been a long time since that has been the case for an SUSD superintendent (excluding of course Dr. Kriekard, who was amazing — and who it should be noted, respected Dr. Menzel and stayed in touch with him).
The continued attacks on Dr. Menzel are nothing more than selfish politics and do a disservice to our kids.

Stop with your agenda please. As a person whose children went through SUSD, as a person who cares about the children now, you are doing them all a disservice. Stop bringing negativity to our district and our state.
