As a former teacher and Special Education director, and long time Scottsdale resident, I say Stop this nonsense!! Everyone in our schools and neighborhoods says that Dr. Menzel is an excellent superintendent. Do not let a few who took his words out of context destroy this school district. The vast majority support Dr. Menzel!! We know what you are up to—leave Dr. Menzel alone, so he can continue to do the excellent job he is already doing!!

Dr. Menzel is doing an excellent job for SUSD. I am appalled at the devious attempts to discredit him and remove him from his position. Those doing so seem to be operating with some other agenda - one that's not focused on the health and well being of the kids and teachers in SUSD schools.

As a retired teacher, I object to our state elected officials trying to interfere with SUSD School Board decisions regarding Dr. Menzel. He has done nothing to violate his contract and should not be fired.

As a student growing up in the SUSD and as a 40 teacher/counselor in the district I can say I have enough history to know how desperately SUSD need quality leadership. Dr. Menzel is one of those treasured leaders that creates community, communicates openly, and is fearless in protecting high level educational opportunities for all students. We need to stand with Dr. Scott Menzel!

As a former teacher in grades 1-8 and former principal of public charter schools, I wholeheartedly support and stand with Dr. Menzel in his role as superintendent of SUSD. AZ politicians should leave decisions regarding the leadership of SUSD to the district's constituents. It's none of your business!

My granddaughter who is biracial attends Desert Canyon Elementary School. My daughter and I support Dr Menzel. We do not want our state representative’s with their twisted views of inclusion speaking for us. Shame!
