Recently, the common council voted 7 to 2 NOT to designate local landmark status to a number of buildings, the bachelor appts. being one of them.. PBN should concentrate their resources on getting neighborhoods and buildings local landmark status.

Buffalo's recent success--particularly in the real estate market--and now is the time to double-down and protect one of the city's top assets: it's heritage architecture. We can progress as a city, and still preserve our buildings; there are plenty of surface parking lots to infill, for instance. Keep Buffalo authentic!

Buffalo has lost too many of its old and historic buildings. It's time to change the direction of preservation.
