Teachers have it hard enough as is. I’m not a teacher, but I watch uninvolved parents on one hand that never support the teachers or overinvolved parents that take up teachers’ time for trivial / petty topics. The parent should have left earlier or have better consequences for her child so that they’re not in the situation of being late. Her lack of preparedness for the day is not acceptable, especially for a STAAR test day.

This mom was an entitled prick attempting to break the rules. Her tardiness is not more important than the safety of the students of Dulles Elementary

I have witnessed parents driving around the pickup/drop off line while students & staff are walking through. Hopefully this will give these parents that are in a "rush" time to slow down and leave home earlier.

This teacher proves that we need more teachers like him that cares for the safety of our kids. I probably would’ve done the same thing if not more just the thought of a kid being hit by this woman who avoided to follow proper directions. I would suggest her to wake up on time in order to get her daughter there in time. And just for the record; those testing doesn’t start until next week!

This man should be celebrated for the courage to break the foolish and very useless school bearocracy rules that are sure not to offend anyone, but do nothing to prevent a child from being harmed by careless drivers that think the safety of others do not apply to them. We need more teachers ( hero’s) like Mr. Morgan. I wish he was watching over my kids each day!

By punishing the teacher, you are confirming the reckless behavior that far too many parents exhibit now a days which is complete and utter disregard of teachers and rules. Parents take no responsibility for their actions and everything is always the teachers fault. Which is beyond wrong. Y’all missed the mark here. What are the cones for if you punish a teacher for letting a parent know why the cones are there. Bad look.

This teacher should be recognized and rewarded. Everyday parents selfishly disregard the safety procedures. This has to stop. He may have prevented serious injury or death.

He was protecting the children. If he had let her pass and there was an accident, he would be in the same situation for NOT stopping her. He was there to keep people in the correct lane. She was in the wrong. I was in line and had an impatient person pass a bunch of cars only to end up hitting a child trying to cross the road. It isn't worth it.

You never know when kids will jump out in front of a car or not be able to see them especially little kids that can't be seen over the hood of a car.
Thank you!!!
