No one should be punished for protecting students.. this teacher is a great example of what I hope my children’s teachers are like.

I absolutely support this teacher. Mr. Dupre, if you apologized and condoned this woman's behavior, shame on you. You've just sent the message that teachers have no authority, and we have no reason to respect them.

He doesn't deserve to be fired. The lady was in the wrong lane ad could have caused someone their lives. There are laws and rules in place for a reason and folks need to follow them.

This teacher was defending the students from an adult that thought she was above the rules. He may have taken it a step too far but I ask any administrator to deal with car rider line for a week at any school and then tell me you wouldn’t have done something similar. Should he be fired? No! Should he be written up? Not sure. Parents go too far too often and think they can do what they want.

No severe consequences should assessed. This can be a teachable moment & offer some PD over the summer.

This lady should be reprimanded! If this teacher needs a job my husband would be happy to have him. Dedication to the students should NOT be punished
