Parents who think the rules don't apply to them or only inconvenience them raise selfish, entitled kids. This teacher put himself at risk to enforce the rules in the wake of a terrible tragedy on this campus earlier this year. It is chaos around most of our schools during drop off and pick up. No way it should have been necessarily for him to do this, but I believe he was completely justified. We have got to find a way to enforce traffic patterns to keep kids safe.

I support the teacher! And from what I've read, that lady lied about testing going on this week. She needs to follow the rules of traffic flow on campus!

Parent after parent/drivers not following rules, sure as hell going to make you want to do something!! This teacher did what he had to to keep thos kiddos and anybody else safe!!

I have seen crazy parents driving in the same parking lot. Matter of fact seen one almost run over a teacher because he pointed them the other way..I have seen parents get out of the car and move the cones! Got multiple emails and letters about parking lot safety from the school. As a parent it would frustrate me to see other parents acts so I could only imagine a teachers. Mr. Young was one of my daughter’s favorite teachers!
