My kids and I almost got hit by a carpool parent one year who wasn’t paying attention in the dropoff line. This teacher was trying to prevent an accident. We have rules for a reason.

Too many people think running late is a good reason to cut in line and break the rules. Thank you sir for for your service

We need more teacher that really do care about the safety of the children and take pride in the work that they do. He did what he felt was right in order to ensure the children's safety.

The mother of that student had no right to put other parent's children in harm's way because she was running late. She can sit there and sugar coat stuff all she wants, they have those cones there for a reason. They are there to ensure the flow of traffic is moving safely and everyone's children are safe. I stand behind this teacher and his actions. If this woman gets her way all your teaching others is "ahh to hell with those cones your children's safety is not our number one concern go ahead and break the rules. If someone's child ends up hurt in the process oh well. Next..." Here this man is trying to ensure everyone follows the rules and no one ends up hurt. He told her repeatedly she's not allowed to go that way yet she pushed on regardless. To hell with her. If she would get her ass up and moving earlier she wouldn't have been put in this situation and could have followed the rules just like everyone else. I want that guy teaching at our school.

He protects our children and you apologize for his actions and investigate him? She violates the law at least 3 times and has no reprocessions. This needs a march

Rules are in place to maintain the safety of the children. This parent obviously did not care.

So glad to have someone willing to step up for our kids. It’s sad when it has to be done for these reasons but... someone has to protect our kids.

This teacher did the right thing.

Parents need to set better examples of following rules. This parent clearly didn’t (doesn’t) follow directions and thinks they are above following rules. Terrible!

Obviously he showed concern for the other kids attentions the school. He should not get into trouble and the mother in the car should get a ticket. Traffic patterns are set up to protect the children. She obviously didn’t care about any kids who attended the school.

Safety is the main concern. I'm glad that he took action and tried to teach this mother a lesson but it is very unfortunate that the mother did not comprehend the lesson.
