Parents need to be held accountable for their bad behaviors, this teacher should not be let go because a certain parent chose not the follow the rules.

Sometimes unorthodox actions are necessary for the safety of our children! This teacher went above & beyond the call of duty. The self righteous parent who felt entitled to bypass the line, the rules & the safety of children to appease her own agenda, should be the one in trouble! This teacher deserves an award!!

Kids safety comes first ... it's not ok for parents to break the rules if they are getting late to school

Firing this man for passionately saving a child from being hurt would be inexcusable. He did something too many are afraid to do! Be Bold!

He went above and beyond to protect the children from possibly being struck by that car driven by that woman.

If he’s protecting the kids why would he be in trouble. That lady should be fined! I have a serious issue with her behavior. Where’s the petition to ensure this lady is reprimanded?

Kuddos to this teacher for enforcing the rules. Shame on this Mom for showing this example to her daughter. Just awful!

Yes! I support coach Young! He's a wonderful teacher that loves the children and does everything in his power to protect them and lead them in the right direction. He should not be fired! This was simply a misunderstanding that was blown out of proportion. All of the great things he's done for the children at Dulles Elementary far out weigh this misunderstanding. I'm a parent of a child at Dulles Elementary. I make sure to follow the rules when dropping off and picking up my child each day. What gives this parent (that posted the video) the right to NOT follow the rules just because she's running late. She was the person that was completely WRONG in this situation. Coach Young should definitely be given a chance to correct this and keep his job at Dulles Elementary where he's helping and positively influencing so many children.

The parent should be disciplined. Not the teacher.

We as parents have a duty towards our child and if you've forgotten to ALL CHILDREN. Hats off to Aaron, an unconventional way, but he managed to do what he set out to do. Rules are there to be followed, not to be broken and that too in a place where there are little kids running around - Ludicrous!

Parents need to be held accountable for what they are teaching their children. Discipline starts at home and rules are rules. This parent should be ashamed of herself.

What would be so refreshing is for the district to take a stand against such entitled behavior. The district doesn’t have to condone the extreme measures of Mr. Morgan but back up the principle of safety and basic procedure!

This lady needs to be ticketed and charged with reckless endangerment!! Completely unacceptable!! I support this teacher 100%
