This Teacher is a HERO, and put his own safety on the line to protect “his kids”. God bless him and he has my support.

We have traffic cones up at our school so the walkers have a safe place to cross (primarily rural area with a suburban community centered on the school). Some of those kids are 8 or younger, and there’s ALWAYS ones who dart out. This mother claims to drive around then cones? You wouldn’t do that at a construction site for safety reasons. Don’t do it at schools!!

Thank you for putting the children's safety before your own. I'm sorry you have to do that with selfish safety rule breaking parents.

This teacher should be commended and the mother who was driving should be ticketed and required to take a drivers training refresher course. She is 100% at fault. There should be a special, very expensive ticket for people who drive irresponsibly near schools, especially during dropoff and pickup.

He was in The right!! Thank you for helping parents understand you can not do what you want just because your child is late. You protected the students. This is a teacher you KEEP!!

Exactly what I would have done! No test (she was late for STAAR) is more important than our kids safety!
