He actually cares about the kids, and lately it seems that has been rare in school.

If there had been a child hurt, they would blame the school for not enforcing the rules. I support what he did, no ma'am You CANNOT! Leave on time lady, if you go through this routine daily! You running late is no excuse to put anyone in harm's way. Check yourself! Follow the rules!

You deserve recognition from the school, district and state for doing the most to ensure safety to your students! I stand with you in solidarity and support. FBISD had better remember their staff morale is at the forefront of a successful year for their students!

If an person came into a school and would not stop for staff, would they not be considered a threat? Why would a person in an SUV (which legally can be classified a weapon), rushes through a parking lot of children, REFUSING to stop for staff not be considered a threat? He was trying to put himself between her and those kids. She has arrogantly said she refused to stop because she was late. Why that condoned? Her child being late takes priority over the safety of others and the protocol of the school? I think something should happen to her. If he is punished, you will be sending a message to parents that these protocols aren’t important and neither is the safety of the school children. This is only setting the foundation for future tragedy.

He is definitely a hero & should be rewarded for protecting kids and not let this entitled parent DJ what they want. She’s being selfish & way way out of line. Take responsibility. She put countless lives in danger and broke rules because she is entitled. Think she’s the only parent running late? Imagine if all parents & high school students that drive that ran late did this! Imagine if it was a teenager late for school driving.

This man did his job!!- He protected those kids. Had this woman struck a child with her vehicle, everyone would be screaming: Where were the teachers!? A lack of planning on her part (running late) does not give her the right to put children in danger and certainly doesn’t give her an “I’m the exception because I’m late” pass. Follow the rules!!! Now I wonder how she’d feel if HER child was put at risk because someone was late? This teacher is a rock star!! He deserves some appreciation!!
