Coach Morgan has be-bested himself into my circle of favorite teachers.
FBISD, you've got a PE coach who's not only faster than a rolling O and stronger than a silent E, but also fit enough to jump over wayward cars in a single bound. Is he a bird? Is he a plane? No, he's CarpoolMan!

I am a teacher and would have done the exact same thing. The cones are there for a reason. She even admitted to cutting through the parking lot because she was late. She should have been fined by the cops

The rules are there to keep people safe, especially students and teachers. From the church across the street we support the teachers and the enforcement of beneficial policies that promote the safety of our community. There is no need for judgement. Everyone just needs to be looking out for others and not focused on their own needs.

If you discipline this teacher for protecting your students, that will just make the irresponsible parents who put their lateness in higher regard than the safety of students continue to do things like this and completely ignore your rules. Stand up for yourselves and congratulate this teacher for protecting your students like he's supposed to!

That mom is a horrible example for her child and just goes to emphasize the entitlement some ignorant individuals display in our current culture. Great job by this teacher to call her out on her BS.

Although I might not think Mr. Morgan’s action unorthodox I applaud his concern for the students safety. Under NO condition was this parent in the right and kuddos for Mr. Morgan for doing the best he could to stop her. Apparently the woman doesn’t understand what cones or flagging of arms mean so perhaps falling on her hood was the only thing left to do. Working carpool is a difficult job and Dulles Elementary certainly has a teacher who truly cares for your students in the right position. Appreciate him please.
