I don't even live in Houston and I still think what that parent did was wrong not the teacher!

My husband was an elementary pe teacher for years in the Texas City ISD. Of course there must be procedures in place to handle the morning and afternoon traffic. You did well, Sir.

Give this man a raise. How can you train a child when the parents do not have to follow the rules. Shhesh

Love this teacher. I am a teacher and we wonder why the children act entitled and won’t follow directions. #dontbelikerita

It appalls me as a teacher and parent that Aaron, who was sacrificing and protecting children, may be punished for this woman’s self-absorbed and self-entitled actions. Think about what message you send if you punish him. You are sending one that says “rules don’t apply”

He was in the right. This entitled parent should be reprimanded. A child could have been hurt due to her negligence!!!

As an elementary teacher who has car rider duty every morning and every afternoon, I feel you. I wish I could buy you a coffee and say Thanks for doing what we all wish we could. God bless you.

I support this man. I read his story from some family that live in the area. If any action is taken against this man then this is truly what is wrong with our school systems. HE WAS PROTECTING THE CHILDREN. If I had it my way, he would be crowned a hero. Teachers like him help parents ease their minds from the safety of their children.

Good for this young man what if she would have hit a student then you'd really be in trouble not only the teacher with the school I say he did the right thing

If anything, this parent should be taken to court for endangering the lives of Elementary students. I will take a teacher like this ANY day! If adverse actions are taken against him, the district is foolish because more entitled parents will take similar actions until a child is hurt or killed!
