This is definitely the man I would want on my team, protecting my children. You gave him a job. He took you seriously! You should praise him!!!!! He is a hero!

When are we going to start supporting teachers for doing the right thing for kids?!? Clearly this parent has no sense of following safety rules that are in place for HER children and everyone else’s!

My hope is that she receives some type of citation. The ENTITLEMENT of special privledges that she displayed is ridiculous. Shame on the news team that did this story too! There should be s retraction with an apology to this teacher!

Rules are rules, parents are the example. Wait until this comes back on that parent and her child does wrong and she expects the school to assist her, because that is the expectation. Teachers need support.

He's a hero. She's entitled.

Good work, Coach Young! I cannot believe that the driver justifies her actions by being late. What a shameful act for her to then go on TV to vilify your heroism. Thank you for putting it on the line to keep children safe. You showed great class and dignity.

Keep jumping on hoods if that’s what keeps the babies safe! I appreciate all you do!

He loves his kids and will protect them at all costs. Plain and simple. We NEED teachers like this.
