He is a hero. Mom was in the wrong. You are not ENTITLED to break the rules just because you are late and endanger those around you.

This teacher should be commended publicly for his actions. And the school district should ensure that the commendation gets covered by the media and reported publicly!

Thank you for protecting children! Our school recently suffered a double accident from a parent getting a little impatient. Kudos to Mr. Morgan for trying to prevent the same.

This teacher is protecting his students. Ridiculous that he would be disciplined.

The parent going through a school zone, admittedly going around cones, should be ticketed. The teacher likely stood in front of her car to stop her and when she didn’t comply his only recourse was to jump on the hood to avoid being run over by a self-absorbed woman who was more concerned about her child being late than about other peoples children being safe. Ticket her and give him a medal.

He was clearly doing his job to protect the lives of children. The woman stated herself that she passed by the traffic cones which clearly indicated she should not pass. A drop off line is not a short cut. She is the one who should be charged with child endangerment. Being late is no excuse to break the rules.

If anyone should be reprimanded, it is the parent that was driving dangerously. This man is a hero.

None of this would have happened, RITA, if YOU hadn't made the choice to cut the carpool line! You can't BREAK THE RULES and expect to get away with it just because YOU are running late, RITA!!!! What lesson are you teaching your child who is in the car with you?? That breaking the law is okay if the law is inconvenient for you??? How dare the news feed into this woman's ego and report this story!

This man should be recognized for his dedication to student safety! What could have happened if he just let her pass? A child could have died! The mother should be punished for refusing to obey the rules and putting other lives in danger.
