What you wanna bet that daughter that was filming this is a bully to other students at her school? I mean who does this and at an elementary school and think it's ok enough to get the news involved, Fox news at that. Maybe it's a good thing she got the news involved. We now see that this school has awesome teachers and this trick has shown the world what a terrible person she is. I want this man at my daughter's school. Don't punish him for that lame woman's actions.

Awesome... going above and beyond duty

I back this teachers actions every step of the way. The mother was in the wrong and knew she was in the wrong bit continued anyway. They block off areas of the parking lot for a reason. This teacher did his job in protecting the children from her.

As an elementary parent and a kindergarten teacher, thank you for being willing to step up to enforce the rules that protect our children!

I watched the video and I couldn’t believe that the news was portraying the woman who didn’t follow the rules as the victim. This teacher did the right thing and we should commend him on his bravery! We need more teachers like this!

I would gladly have this teacher protecting my child. Rita needs a few reckless driving tickets, charges for endangering the welfare of minors ( the elementary children and her own in the car).

Thanks for protecting our children. From a mother as well as a prek teacher.

This parent should be ashamed of herself. Rules are in place for a reason and they apply to everyone. She was warned twice before this teacher stepped in to let her know that she would go no farther. He was professional and calm. And now this mother has taught her child the lesson that rules don’t apply to them and that she is allowed to break the rules when those rules are inconvenient.

Coach Young was only trying to protect students and faculty. This woman admits to not following the rules. The fact that this petition is even needed is ridiculous, but I signed because I am in support of his actions and don’t believe that he should be penalized for trying to protect his kids.

This educator is a HERO! Reward him for his bravery and press charges against Rita, the mom who trespassed and endangered his life and the lives of children! She actually drove with him on the hood of her car, views obstructed. I'm sure that must have broken a law. Go after her and declare this brave man a HERO! Give the man a bonus!

Excuses do not negate consequences. He was rigjt, she was wrong.

Where is the disciplinary action against the mom? She is the one who is totally at fault; not the teacher!!

Parents need to follow rules. Teachers are just trying to protect students!

Rita shouldn’t be allowed to drive on either campus again. She was the one in the wrong. Fox was also wrong for reporting it the way they did.

A school’s priority is the kids!

In the current climate of school safety, this teacher should be praised for his actions! What if a student was crossing, what if she was a psycho trying to run down kids!
