I think he’s a HERO! Doesn’t deserve to be punished in any way! Now Rita should be held accountable for her actions!!!

We need to back our teachers when they take action to protect our children. If Rita had run over a child we’d be asking why everyone stood around and watched.

To punish this teacher for attempting to peaceably enforce school rules would be ridiculous. Education should be provided and real penalties applied for the parents who believe the rules don't apply to them.

As a teacher, your job is to protect children. The parent should have known better than to try to shortcut through a parking lot. As a fellow teacher that has worked car duty at an elementary school, you have to have your head on a swivel making sure everybody is safe. If the parent is that late that they need to barrel through a parking lot maybe they should have left a few minutes earlier and got off Facebook.

I fully support this teacher. It's a shame that anyone called this entitled woman to apologize. She should be ashamed and afraid to show her face. She is NOT a vuctim. He, however, is a hero, going above and beyond to protect the children of his school. She should be fined or jailed for child endangerment. There's a petition that needs made!

I as a mom would like to applaud you for your heroic act. There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to put someone else’s child in harms way do to there own actions. This could all been prevented had the Woman simply got an earlier start do her son wouldn’t be running late for school. Clearly she feels entitled to break rules and make her own all because her son is more important than any other child. Thank you , thank you for risking your own life to protect our children.

I do an hour of crossing guard duty every morning. Parents will speed through the parking lot to drop off students who are catching a bus to another campus or the parent is late to work. You being late isn't the school's problem, it is yours. Stop endangering students and teachers with your tunnel vision that the world revolves around you. Besides the immediate danger, you are teaching your kids theyet deserve special treatment.

If I saw the situation from my spot in the carpool line, I would have become furious at the entitled Rita. And applauded for Mr. Morgan.
