She was being irresponsible and reckless. She's self entitled and punishing him will make her think she's right.

She knew she was in the wrong. She chose to dismiss other warnings and orange cones. He took his role to serve the community and protect the safety of the children seriously. Her entitlement does not excuse her. She should be the one being reprimanded and fined. She is teaching her child blatant disregard for the law. Rules are to be followed.. by all.

While the actions of the teacher may be considered over the top, the parent was entirely in the wrong. She completely disregarded traffic cones, and multiple teachers because she thought she was Above the Rules. She drove through an unauthorized area, of a school she had No Right to be at, to drop of her high school student that was late (either the mother’s fault of the daughters) Anything more than a verbal warning is completely ludicrous on the part of the school

Very proud of this teacher. He went above and beyond to protect his students. I'd feel lucky for my child to have a teacher with that level of commitment to their safety!!!

With tragedy’s that happen at schools so commonly now, that car (Rita) could have been doing anything from minor to extreme and he was doing his job and keeping children safe.

I thought this was awesome! He did as the principal was told. “NO ONE GETS THROUGH!”

He did the right thing. If she had followed the rules, she wouldn't have put the kids in danger and Mr. Morgan wouldn't have had to do what he did.

Being a bus driver, I have seen time and again where parents do everything they can to circumvent lines and the like a drop offs, and even pick ups. That a teacher went that extra step to stop one parent from possibly creating tragedy, I salute him!

This mother’s behavior is unacceptable. If you allow this, you are not only teaching her but also her child and other students that breaking the rules is okay. She does not seem to realize that rules have consequences and did not seem to understand why the teacher would have been upset that she broke a SAFETY rule. Her argument that was she was late and following the rules would have made her more late and so that’s why it was okay that she did what she did. No. Unacceptable. It is never okay to put children at risk. It is no one’s problem but her own that she was late and she is trying to make it everyone else’s problem. She needs to learn responsibility and this teacher was 100% in the right trying to enforce the rules and advocate for the safety of his students.

It was an unconventional way to approach the situation, but the lesson had to be taught some way or another in order to uphold the safety of the students. Legal action against this teacher's actions is in bad taste. For the actions of the opposing party was both wrongful and endangering to not only the staff, but to the students of the school and members of the community within the area, respectively.
