Clearly this teacher was more concerned about the safety of the students than his own. The driver was being irrational and showing blatant disregard for safety procedures. People behaving in this manner should not be driving around children in a vehicle and it is unfortunately unclear what additional irrational behavior they will engage in.

As a retired teacher who has done plenty of parking lot supervision in the past, I support Coach Young and everything he did to protect his students.
Ms. Trimmer called his actions unprofessional. He was not. He was desperate to protect the students any way he could.
What does she think she's teaching her kids by breaking safety rules and being late to school?
