Children's safety is FIRST!!! Sometimes you have to do unorthodox things to make adults realize they ALL have to follow the rules.

My mother is a teacher. I've volunteered during drop off. This man is a prime example of teachers putting students first.

I used to teach at Dulles Elementary back in the 90s. I know what the parking situation is like there with the high school next door. I completely understand this exceptional teacher’s concern for his students. The district needs to stand behind this young man and not throw him under the bus! Take a stand for the children!

Coach Young potentially saved a life. Everyone needs to be reminded to SLOW DOWN and leave a few minutes earlier!! If you’re late, you’re late... it’s not worth risking someone’s life!!! People are injured in these scenarios more often than people realize.

That parent was in the wrong. She ignored cones, two separate teachers warning her before she was forced to stop. If she’d been carrying a gun he would be s hero for stopping her. A car disregarding traffic rules in an elementary parking lot is just as dangerous as a loaded gun. Shame on anyone who protects this self entitled mom.

This teacher should be given an award for his bravery for protecting small children not punished because some entitled b thought she deserved to make illegal turns on school property! She is insane and he needs to file defamation of character and if he's punished needs to fill in the school for any reprimand! The way this mother is teaching her child to act is sick and this teacher absolutely did what any parent would have done! He protected the children period! Good for you!

The parent that cut through the parking lot and went around barriers as well as disregarding teachers telling her to stop, needs a citation. This teacher did his job.

I stand with this professional! Someone give him a hero bonus in his pay bucket. FBISD is parent-dominated, and not in a good way. This is a logical step in how they treat teachers who don't roll over and let them do whatever they want.

I am a high school student and I am glad he took precautions in looking out for the overall safety of his students. She’s in hightschool? Time management. If your late your late. Being two minutes tardy and ten minutes is still tardy. I know that being a high schooler. That doesn’t give permission to break rules. Not only that but they’re in high school! She could of been dropped off on the side and simply walked. Her mother babied her and wanted an acception to the rule. Not acceptable

Shame on Rita! Girl, carpool rules apply to everyone! Buy an alarm clock and quit messing with Coach Young!

I am a former educator and it is our duty to protect these kids. They are our children the moment they get out of the car. 7:30-3:30 mon- friday. This lady is NOT entitled to break rules and act the way she did. There are rules of the school for saftey reasons. She should act like an adult and use better time management skills and abide by the rules!

I see it every day. We have had children nearly hit several times, and a teacher’s car was even hit in the parking lot and it was a hit and run!

This teacher should be COMMENDED for his protecting of the students at Dulles Elementary school. Any negative consequences should be directed at the entitled and disrespectful mother who chose to disobey laws and put children at risk.
