This teacher was protecting students!!! Leave him alone!!

This teacher should be commended for doing whatever he could in order to protect the students at his school. This lady had absolutely no regard for anyone. She should be the one reprimanded.

I would have done the same. And FOX is just as guilty as Rita for trying to make you look like an angry man.

Shame on the school... district.. add to the list of things black people do to get criminalized, go above and beyond at your job.

I applaud him. I see this all too much. Some parents/drivers never think about the other children. Especially if they are in a hurry and do not follow the rules

Although an unorthodox way of handling the situation, I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing if it meant protecting other students.

As an elementary school parent, I am sickened at the attitude of the parent that chose to not follow the rules when it came to dropping off her child and leaving. KUDOS TO AN AWESOME TEACHER WHO COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN OF THAT SCHOOL! If that had happened at our school, the parent would have lost any drop off rights and the kid would have been forced to ride the bus, if it happened again the child and parent could be asked to leave the district! STAND UP FOR YOUR TEACHER! To the news crew, YOU ARE WHATS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD! STOP REPORTING HALF TRUTHS AND LIES!

I don't normally chime in on this kind of stuff, but I will sign this for sure. The system has teachers come in early and pull their "duty" days to be out there to ensure everyone is safe and all runs smoothly and when this man took action because someone was clearly disobeying and not concerned for anyone but HERSELF and HER child being on time versus anybody else, he gets in trouble??!! That is what is wrong with this world. She should be the one getting in trouble not him...hands down... Everyone knows that they don't have to obey the law because all they have to do is whine about it and say they were violated and the other person gets in trouble. This is so annoying to read. What's the point of even having cones put down or teachers out there to help if they can't help when needed. What was he supposed to do? Get her tag number and report to the police who what..maybe would have given her a ticket that she would have paid or gotten dismissed...and her comment, you don't know who you are messing with....I guess she's above the law. I wish a judge would tell her that.
