We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

This is the kind of young man I want teaching, mentoring and watching over my children and grandchildren.

Parents screaming to protect our children. That their safety is important, then try to penalize us when we do?

He went above and beyond to protect the kids! Great teacher takes his job seriously.

PLEASE do not remove this teacher from his job. He is obviously a stand-up educator and cares immensely about the safety of his students. Ms. Rita disobeyed rules and the teacher’s actions have been skewed through false media coverage. It is apparent in the video that the mother kept driving when he tried to stop her and it lead to him being kept on the hood & in harm’s way. Ms Rita should be given a citation for her poor choices and the teacher should not be punished!!

This teacher is a hero! I would be honored to have him teaching my children.

I was student that attended John Foster Dulles Elementary School when they were known as the Dulles Cowboys (1977-1981). The caliber of the commitment shown by Coach is the level of professionalism that I experienced every day of every year of attendance at Dulles Elementary. His concern for rules and regulations to protect students at all cost, even putting his own safety at risk to bring attention to Rita, demonstrates his devotion to the kids of Fort Bend I.S.D. He is a Hero and an example that every inspired student should aspire to be.

I would know my kid’s safety were of top concern to him and I applaud him! Great action taken for a possible catastrophe because of parental ignorance!

I believe the parent, Rita, needs to be disciplined. She had no right disobeying multiple traffic rules and more so in the presence of so many children. She should be fined and required to take driving lessons, road rules and signs are a big part of driving.

Kudos to this teacher. Protecting kids and making their safety his number one priority. This parent is entitled and should be ashamed.

I think what he did was very brave and I applaud him. The worst could have easily happened had she kept going. Thank you sir for keeping our kids safe. Also as a side note, it didn’t look to me as if he had jumped on the car, it looks like he simply laid across the hood. She had absolutely no business being in that lot. She’s late? Oh well. Leave early like the rest of us to get your child to school on time. The safety of the children is more important than your child being a few minutes late for class. Again, thank you sir for doing what you could to help your students and to most likely prevent a serious accident. I commend you! I’d love for my child to have a teacher like you who is willing to protect their students at all costs. Thank you!

Parking lot/carline duty is a thankless job but we are all doing for the kids. I have been cussed at, threatened and splattered with mud by the parents of the children I am there to protect

He went above and beyond to protect the students during drop off. If this had happened at my Childrens school between a parent and , it certainly would not have been her being a victim. The DARE officer in charge of protecting all the school children would have called her in for a not so friendly conversation. She endangered students and clearly didn't care continued to drive with an obstructed view with the teacher on her windshield. This teacher deserves a Kudos and some recognition within the school system.

Everybody is talking about his actions when the mom states multiple times she knew she was doing wrong. What the heck? Nice example for your kids...

If she had a child that attended that elementary school and her child was hit by someone that was cutting through to get to the high school she would be blaming the school and the teachers for not doing their job and letting people cut through.

Would be a different news report had this self entitled lady hit a child. This teacher would be blamed for not stopping her.

She was wrong for ignoring direction because she was running late? He was saving and protecting those kids under his control.

I commend the teacher for putting his life in jeopardy to protect those kids. We need more heros like him.

Rita was in the wrong & should have gotten a ticket. The teacher was amazing & I am very proud of him for taking a stand. Now maybe the next person wanting to cut thru will think twice. Dulles Elementary should be proud to have this man as one of yours.
