A hero in a teachers clothing. Reprehensible that this woman seems to think the rules don’t apply. If they want to fire him for protecting students, I’m sure there are dozens of other school districts who will hire him. Shame on that woman and the district.

The mom was in the wrong. She drove around cones set up for safety. She ignored faculty telling her not to go in that area. Maybe he shouldn’t have jumped on the vehicle however what if the driver was someone intent on harming children. The teacher didn’t know. He was trying to place himself between the vehicle and possibly danger to the kids at the school.

THe teacher was absolutely in the right. This lady was running late, which was her OWN fault, disobeying rules, her OWN fault and disrespecting school staff who told her she couldn’t be there. She’s NOT the victim!!

I AM 21 YEARS OLD AND IN COLLEGE. I HOPE ONE DAY TO WORK WITH CHILDREN EITHER AS AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER OR A CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST. I LIVE ACROSS AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WHICH IS NEXT TO A HIGH SCHOOL AND IT IS TRULY CHAOTIC IN THE MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS DURING PICKUP/DROPOFFS. I HAVE SEEN MANY MANY PARENTS DISSAPOINTINGLY DRIVE UNSAFELY AROUND THESE SCHOOL CHILDREN AND MANY ARE ONLY THINKING OF THEMSELVES AMONG THE STRESSFUL HERD OF CARS. WHAT THIS BRAVE TEACHER DID TO PROTECT THE BABIES OF THE SCHOOL ONLY SHOWS HOW DISRESPECTFUL PARENTS OR OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAN BE. CHILD SAFETY IS NUMBER ONE!!! WHY DEFEND HER WHEN SHE ADMITS TO WRONGDOING AND SUBMITS FILM OF HER ENDANGERING THIS POOR TEACHER WHILE CONTINUING TO DRIVE WHILE HE’S TRYING TO CALMLY TALK TO HER. SHE KNEW SHE WAS IN THE WRONG WHILE HE WAS MERELY TRYING TO DEFEND THE TERRITORY. PLEASE PROTECT HIM AS HE SETS AN EXAMPLE AND JUST SHOWS HOW LITTLE SCHOOL TEACHERS ARE APPRECIATED EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE THE ONES IN CHARGE OF CARING FOR AND PROTECTING HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN.

Rita Trimmer-ray should have to face consequences for her neglectful and dangerous actions. Why should Aaron Morgan have to suffer for doing his job. Maybe Rita needs to perform traffic enforcement for an entire school year to see why schools work they way they do.

I can’t hardly believe this. This teacher was given a job and this woman violated the space of this job! Actually a police officer should of ticketed her for her move! The teacher needed to get her attention any way possible because she had already ignored another and may do this again later if she had got away with it or started a trend!

The women was completely in the wrong for driving thru the elementary school to get to the high school next door. I truly do not understand how anyone could think she was not in the wrong for how she was driving and acting in a elementary school zone. I hope and pray that people correct this wrong doing to this teacher and give a ticket to the woman with no respect.

I don’t usually sign online petitions, but this one hit home. The whole time I was watching the news report, I was just thinking “wait she went THROUGH a coned-off area at an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL?! He was protecting kids from getting hit by a car!”
As an early ed teacher, I’ve worked in places where cones are placed to designate no-driving zones. I don’t know if I would’ve leaned over a car’s hood like this man did, but I’ve definitely yelled to and waved at cars who approach the coned areas. As teachers, our job is to always be on alert and keep children safe; and to react within a moment’s notice to do so.
Let this man keep his job, and back him up with a show of support for keeping his kids priority number one.
