The driver was totally selfinvolved and in the wrong. He was just protecting the kids

Coach Young should be receiving a commendation, not a punishment. He went above and beyond, putting his own safety at risk to protect his students.

Make this a reachable moment for both parties. Do not t take away from a teacher who chose to protect his students.

It's about time a parent who feels entitled gets put in her place! I support the teacher.

Coach Young was trying to protect our children! Traffic laws are there for a reason: to be followed. Being late is not an excuse to put other people in danger.

Kudos to this teacher for being willing to go above and beyond in an attempt to protect his students! Shame on the news outlet who reported this story with such a dishonest slant, the driver admitted she drove around cones twice, was told to stop twice, did not want to wait in line...what bizzare message was the media hoping to relay?

Doing his job--jumping on car's hood is akin to jumping in front of someone with a gun pointed at a child. Brave teacher; self-entitled, potentially dangerous mom
