Job well done! She doesn’t get to break the rules and then try to shame the teacher for trying to protect these kids!

The teacher did his job, plain and simple. Shame on the news station for enabling this type of behavior from entitled parents.

This teacher shouldn’t be punished for protecting students from a self serving parent who failed to plan for her day properly and instead of accepting the consequences tried to cheat the system.

I do not live in your area but I would proud to have this man teach at my kids school. This is the type of teacher we need more of, it is clear that he loves those kids and will put his life on the line to protect them.

As a teacher who had carpool duty every single day for 3 years, I can only say that this teacher is my HERO! We have to do whatever it takes to protect our students. If one parent thinks they can cut through the parking lot, others will too, and then our students’ lives are in danger. She was absolutely in the wrong. This teacher should not be punished for trying to protect students.

This man put the children's safety first without fear. He is a hero. Rita should be in jail for multiple accounts of reckless endangerment and assault with a deadly weapon. Shame on her, and on any who apologized to her. What a great way to demonstrate teacher appreciation.

The woman driving the car is not the victim here- it’s ridiculous that she is being portrayed as one. This teacher deserves a promotion, not punishment! He was protecting the kids!!! Do the right thing.

I don’t feel he needs to be punished for his actions... What if a child had decide to coming running out or something happened to someone because of her actions... She did not fall anyone’s rules and she decided to do what she wanted to do..

The parent should be fined and the teacher should be praised. I hope my kids have a teacher that cares this much about the welfare of his students someday. If she fallowed the rules none of this would have happened.

I believe Mr Morgan was given a difficult and dangerous job. Under the circumstances I believe he handled himself very well. As a parent of 4 children I can only hope that teachers like Mr Morgan will be employed and feel support from the educational system in which I entrust my children. I hope this man not only will retain his job but will be given a raise as he clearly is a man going above and beyond to serve our community.

The parent blatantly ignored safety and made the choice to go around the teachers as they were telling her no. She was willing to accept a ticket, sure, but what if she hit a student? She made the conscious decision to weigh her consequences of risking student safety over getting her daughter to school to take a test.... A. Test. And decided the test was more important than a potential injury to a small child. I don't care if it was the STARR test, if she hit my child becuase she thinks she's above the rules there would be hell to pay.
