He was protecting the students from being hit by the car. Rita was told by a previous teacher she could drive in the area she was in. Coach young does not deserve to be punished for protecting the children at his school.

If it was inexcusable for the teacher to protect elementary school children walking into class. What is it for a Mother of a High School student to IGNORE traffic cones and WARNINGS from the safety personnel?? What if she would have hit a child because she was in a hurry and PURPOSELY IGNORING traffic safety???

I work at an Elementary school. A parent drove through the area with children present and was clearly the safety concern, not this teacher. Non only should the teacher not be disciplined beyond a verbal warning. The parent involved should be banned from the premises.

This isthe kind of teacher were needed, and he doesn't yell at her, he trying to have a conversation!

This teacher did the best he could in the moment. No negative action should be taken against him.

We need more courageous male teachers! Rita was out of order, the nerve of the media over sensationalizing this and not questioning Rita about her actions. I’m more outraged by her behavior.
